ABOUT

Bethani Theresa has loved stories since before she understood how much time and thought went into each one. She painfully learned how hard it is to write anything publishable when she wrote a story about a boy and his dog (Basil) for a school assignment. Since that first failure, she has joined the Young Writer’s Workshop and learned a thing or two (such as subplots exist, Mary Sues are universally looked down on, and stories don’t have to be all fluff and no bite).

Sister to ten, Bethani's stories often feature strong family themes and span several age groups and genres. When not writing, she enjoys playing with her little brothers, designing book covers, editing and critiquing for friends, and learning new things. She loves geeking about well-written stories, as her siblings can testify.

Her favorite books include Nadine Brandes' Fawkes, Andrew Peterson's Wingfeather Saga, Trenton Lee Stewart's The Mysterious Benedict Society, Kara Swanson's Heirs Of Neverland, and J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord Of The Rings.

This blog was started as a way to collect information in one place for others wishing to change the world with their words. Bethani believes God has given us all gifts to aid in serving others, and she aims to use hers for that purpose. Go here for more information on her services.
